Universityof Ni\u0161<\/a> was founded in 1965. Since then, 68408 students have graduated from the University, 1350 of them being foreign citizens, while 3819 postgraduates acquired their magister degrees and 2128 candidates, including 45 foreigners, defended their doctoral dissertations. The mission of the University of Ni\u0161 is integration into the European higher education area in accordance with the highest quality standards of education, research and professional work. The Faculty of Law was established in 1960, initially as the Law Department at the Faculty of Law and Economics in Ni\u0161 operating under the auspices of the University of Belgrade. Since 1st October 1970, the Faculty of Law has been an independent institution of higher education within the institutional framework of the University of Ni\u0161. Within the Faculty of Law, the Center for Legal and Social Research is a constituent part of the scientific research unit primarily aimed at organizing and managing the Faculty scientific research activities. The Center encompasses the entire body of Faculty professors and teaching assistants but project activities may also include the Faculty non-teaching staff and external associates.<\/p>\nProfesor Sanja Marjanovi\u0107<\/h4>\n
Profesor Sanja Marjanovi\u0107 is the Vice-President of the Center for Private International Law of the Hague Conventions at the Faculty of Law of the University of Ni\u0161. She was the Secretary of the Serbian Ministry of Justice\u2019s Working Group for Drafting the new Private International Law Act (2011-2014). Serbian Government’s Council on Private International Law has appointed Sanja Marjanovi\u0107 as the rapporteur at the Council’s expert discussions on the proposals for the ratification of two Hague Conventions – Convention of 19 October 1996 on Jurisdiction, Applicable Law, Recognition, Enforcement and Co-operation in Respect of Parental Responsibility and Measures for the Protection of Children and the Convention of 23 November 2007 on the International Recovery of Child Support and Other Forms of Family Maintenance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
