An interview study designed to assess the use of non-technical skills by farmers
Research
The NTSAg group conducts Applied Psychology research to examine the non-technical skills used by farmers. This includes research to understand risk perception and management, and the importance of social (communication, teamwork, leadership) and cognitive (situation awareness, decision-making, task management) and personal management (fatigue and stress management) skills to maintain farmer safety. More recently this research has expanded to include the safety of veterinary surgeons visiting farms. Click on a link below to find out more.
