The purpose of this web site is to cover the WordPress fundamentals that you will need to work on your site, and to focus on those aspects of the University of Aberdeen WordPress Content Management System that are specific to the University of Aberdeen environment.
The University of Aberdeen WordPress Content Management System has been specifically developed to provide you with a responsive, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing theme, complete with modules that provide functionality such as accordions, call to action buttons, embedded content, galleries, slideshows, tabs, and much more.
To minimize security concerns where possible, the University of Aberdeen WordPress Content Management System uses in-house produced themes and modules, and uses an absolute minimum of externally produced plugins. For this reason, you cannot add your own themes and/or plugins.
Any functionality that is not already provided will be considered on a business merit case and we are open to comments on the University of Aberdeen WordPress Content Management System, with a view to constantly developing and improving upon the service.
